HAIRSTYLIST, MAKE UP ARTIST, PAINTER, SKYDIVER……..

I am an artist; the human form is my canvas. For fifteen years, I have been working with hair, make-up and paint, using these mediums to create the appropriate image for each situation. Beauty manifests itself in many different ways and I take it upon myself to capture it. I use my innate sense of style and composition to accentuate each individual image.

Over the years my work has appeared in print, in film and on television — specifically, in commercials, music videos, talk shows, and, most notably, at the Oscar’s in Hollywood California. With this wide range of experience, I have had an opportunity to work and collaborate with many different professionals.

My paintings are about connection. Perception and experience as well as the visual of now go into every moment. I attempt to capture these moments and paint in the lines of connection, using theory of color as well as the input of my subjects.  Most of the work is  about being human and connected.

Four mediums go into just about each peice, water color, pastel, stone sculpture and acrylic paint. The movement from one to the other shows a layering  I have become facinated with.  The url below will take you to my main gallery where I have laid out photos of each work from start to finish on the back deck.
