Live Connections in Star Journey Treat Party Guests in SF Bay Area

Star Journey author Richard H. Geer mans the controls as his avatar Starman Heron along with business partner RebelMum Slade (Vanessa Taylor of S. Australia) do a live audio interview with artist Genevieve Silvercloud (Gen Montreuil of Toronto, Canada).

This was part of demonstrating Star Journey in Second Life (SL), with two live feeds, at the Midsommers Night Artist Party on Saturday, July 18 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Helping make all this run smoothly was Claudine Ducrot of Star Journey’s team. She took the party photos you see here. She also logged into SL as Claudine, giving partygoers the a view of the virtual world from another avatar, a friendly and articulate femaie with “pretty blue eyes.”

Artist Interview from Toronto

Below are 3 photos taken inside SL during the interview. Artist Genevieve explained how her artwork uses several media including pastels, acrylic paints and often actual castings of the person’s face of the portrait subject (see center photo). Gen also loves skydiving which are themes in the other two paintings shown here.

Topping off Star Journey’s show, Broadway singer/songwriter Tamra Sands (Tamra Hayden) performed live music streamed in from New York City. Tamra sang both Broadway tunes and songs from her own wonderful CD “A Day At The Fair.”
